There is ZERO shame in not being as fit as you would like to be.

‼️Fitness can be an escape from the stresses and responsibilities of day-day life. It makes us feel free & alive.


🥰HEALTH which I’ve talked about being a priority & NUMBER 1 is a great reason to get FIT!


‼️There was a post on a page I follow about a man who had gone for his first MTB ride in several weeks. He realised he had got super unfit & was flagging on every ride!


😬Did he beat himself up about it?

😬Did he make himself feel awful for it?


🥰NO - He decided to take positive action and do something about it.


😕Sometimes we go through periods of weeks, or months, where we don't get enough time to put fitness into our day. Our fitness & our health suffers because of it.


🥰For me personally I keep up my running as I like the way it makes me feel - happy, fit, energised! It’s also a chance for my head to clear out all the junk & sort it out.


🥰I have a healthy HABIT (like I talked about last week) of running. I don’t stop as I know its hard to get going again.


🥰However I do REST, RECOVER as the body needs to repair & I do other activities too (bike, ski, gym BALANCE)!


🥰We all start as a beginner and I especially applaud those who do start some fitness later in life. Any FITNESS IS BETTER THAN NONE!


🤔So if you’ve let your fitness fall away TODAY think about how your going to start back?


🤔What do you want to do? If there is nothing start with a walk or bike? or tennis or golf or gym?


‼️Today find the clothing you want to wear. Put it on the floor of your bedroom. Decide on a time (often first thing is best) and then set the alarm & tell anyone who will listen that’s what your going to do (it makes you accountable).


😊Don’t let being slow or a beginner stop you as everyone (me too!) was once slow and a beginner too!


😬Just don’t go out FAST & HARD - SLOW & STEADY win the race especially as you don’t want an injury!

👟When you can make sure you have good shoes as this is the best way along with technique to ensure you keep your body from getting an injury!

Another week down & 5-10 press ups is our November challenge Monday to Thursday keep it up!
