Sometimes we just must rest!

🌸I’ve just returned from Mt Maunganui & possibly the travel & meeting many people during my time away means I’ve finally joined the I HAVE COVID group!
🦠So for the last week I’ve been resting, recovering and fighting this virus!
🍯 Honey, lemon, vitamins, Panadol, cough medicine & ice blocks have kept me going.
💤But most importantly SLEEP!
🥦I like to think my HEALTHY LIFE CHOICES & FITNESS are the reason I’ve done quite well.
🦠Therefore giving me the energy to fight this virus or anything else that comes my way.
🏋🏼♀️I am all about FITNESS but the best way for our bodies to recover from ILLNESS is to rest.
👏🏻If though we are INJURED then seeing a professional to assist with diagnosis is extremely important to aid our recovery not just assuming the body will heal itself.
👏🏻Then following that direction we can return to FITNESS.
🏋🏼♀️I always seek the best advice possible and follow it! It’s not worth the ILLNESS or INJURY dragging out because I’ve not listened to professionals or myself.
👏🏻Here’s an interesting article from Dr Libby about looking after our joints, they don’t just look after themselves!
☹️Although I’ve let the team down with my withdraw from the JULY challenge I intend to start as soon as I’m well again - fingers crossed next week! So keep trying to execute change and add in or take out one thing to move towards a healthier you!
🌸We are now past the middle of JULY - and keep trying to enjoy exercise with family during the school holidays
