Sometimes we just must rest!

Updated: Jul 14, 2022

šŸŒøIā€™ve just returned from Mt Maunganui & possibly the travel & meeting many people during my time away means Iā€™ve finally joined the I HAVE COVID group!

šŸ¦ So for the last week Iā€™ve been resting, recovering and fighting this virus!

šŸÆ Honey, lemon, vitamins, Panadol, cough medicine & ice blocks have kept me going.

šŸ’¤But most importantly SLEEP!Ā  Ā

šŸ„¦I like to think my HEALTHY LIFE CHOICES & FITNESS are the reason Iā€™ve done quite well.

šŸ¦ Therefore giving me the energy to fight this virus or anything else that comes my way.

šŸ‹šŸ¼ā€ā™€ļøI am all about FITNESS but the best way for our bodies to recover from ILLNESS is to rest.

šŸ‘šŸ»If though we are INJURED then seeing a professional to assist with diagnosis is extremely important to aid our recovery not just assuming the body will heal itself.

šŸ‘šŸ»Then following that direction we can return to FITNESS.

šŸ‹šŸ¼ā€ā™€ļøI always seek the best advice possible and follow it!Ā  Itā€™s not worth the ILLNESS or INJURY dragging out because Iā€™ve not listened to professionals or myself.

šŸ‘šŸ»Hereā€™s an interesting article from Dr Libby about looking after our joints, they donā€™t just look after themselves!

ā˜¹ļøAlthough Iā€™ve let the team down with my withdraw from the JULY challenge I intend to start as soon as Iā€™m well again - fingers crossed next week! Ā  So keep trying to execute change and add in or take out one thing to move towards a healthier you!

šŸŒøWe are now past the middle of JULY - and keep trying to enjoy exercise with family during the school holidays
