☺️Whether it be down to the next road, 1km or 21km we are all running.
☺️If it’s fast, slow or a jog it’s still a run!
☺️If it takes you longer than someone else it’s still running, unless your competing it doesn’t matter how long it takes.
👍🏻Even if your doing an event unless your wanting to be competitive your still running but against your own desired time or completing a distance.
🤦🏼♀️I often hear people put down their effort. BE PROUD as another saying goes “your lapping everyone on the couch”!
🙌🏻As you RUN past homes think of those inside not running!
🙌🏻Or think of those you maybe inspiring by running by!!
If you’ve wanted to be a runner then start but just make sure:
👍🏻you start with good running shoes
👍🏻start slow
👍🏻don’t believe every run will be perfect
👍🏻look around you and enjoy the scenery
👍🏻ask for advice or read advice
👍🏻maybe do an event or join a running group
🙌🏻Running is a fantastic way to keep fit as it help clear the mind or gives you time to think and you need very little equipment and can do it anywhere.
🙌🏻I’ve been a runner for 20+ years and will be a runner for my whole life!
💕I don’t love every run either and it did take time to love it. But now I do & it didn’t take 20 years to love.
🤥No it doesn’t ruin your knees this non factual statement was disproven and instead, it fortifies them, leaving joints sturdier and less damaged than if someone had never taken up the sport.
