āThink about what healthy means & then make your life reflect this - thatās the path to good health & often to a better body inside and out!
āThink about the nutritional value of your food & drink choices? What nutrients do you get from what you eat?
š”If you're overloading your body with foods of low or no nutritional value then what energy levels are you expecting from your body? Why are you surprised when you feel lethargic!
šš»Here are some boxes that need ticking:
āļøeat a balanced diet (protein; meats, eggs, etc carbohydrates (not sugar/starchy laden ones),
āļøhealthy fats; avocado nuts etc
āļøhydrate with water
āļødonāt upsize your meals
āļøget active and stay active
āļøDonāt weigh yourself every day! but consider your body fat vs muscle
āļøget enough sleep (everyone is different)
āļøfind healthy ways to reduce stress (exercise is excellent for this)
āļømake ME time (what do you love to do & do it often š)
āļøspend time with friends & family making memories
āļøhave regular check ups and donāt delay a doctors visit for šš»smears/prostrate/mammogram/bowel/eyes/dentist/cholesterol/bloods
āļøsmile & laugh & remember some things in life are free to enjoy! ā¤ļø
šI discussed the medical checks above in the gym this week, itās a good time to book some of these into your year, which is what Iāve done.
šPreventative medicine with checks & many of the above list of ideals ticked off is the best way to enjoy a long life!
šI did enjoy the SARDINES this week as part of the try something NEW & I had them on some toast, you may have seen my post! I then finished off the tin the next night!! š yum!
