đ§Being healthy is what we should be striving for!
đ§Being Strong / Fit / Energetic /Happy are more important goals?
đ§We all know more than we think about being healthy? Just make sure your information is from a reputable source!
âAre we living the life we know would bring us good health or just doing the diet thing for short term gain?
âThink about what healthy means & then make your life reflect this - thatâs the path to good health & often to a better body inside and out!
âThink about the nutritional value of your food & drink choices? What nutrients do you get from what you eat?
đĄIf you're overloading your body with foods of low or no nutritional value then what energy levels are you expecting from your body? Why are you surprised when you feel lethargic!
đđťHere are some boxes that need ticking:
âď¸eat a balanced diet (protein; meats, eggs, etc carbohydrates (not sugar/starchy laden ones),
âď¸healthy fats; avocado nuts etc
âď¸hydrate with water
âď¸donât upsize your meals
âď¸get active and stay active
âď¸Donât weigh yourself every day! but consider your body fat vs muscle
âď¸get enough sleep (everyone is different)
âď¸find healthy ways to reduce stress (exercise is excellent for this)
âď¸make ME time (what do you love to do & do it often đ)
âď¸spend time with friends & family making memories
âď¸have regular check ups and donât delay a doctors visit for đđťsmears/prostrate/mammogram/bowel/eyes/dentist/cholesterol/bloods
âď¸smile & laugh & remember some things in life are free to enjoy! â¤ď¸
đI discussed the medical checks above in the gym this week, itâs a good time to book some of these into your year, which is what Iâve done.
đPreventative medicine with checks & many of the above list of ideals ticked off is the best way to enjoy a long life!
đI did enjoy the SARDINES this week as part of the try something NEW & I had them on some toast, you may have seen my post! I then finished off the tin the next night!! đ yum!
