OF COURSE I STRUGGLE I JUST DON’T QUIT

Sometimes true even for me. Just before Christmas I broke a bone in my foot.

😩No exercise!

😩No running on the beach in Summer which I love!

🥺I STRUGGLED! But I didn’t QUIT!

🚴🏻‍♂️As soon as I could I was on my bike on the flat biking! Not going crazy & but being cautious!


😩In winter it’s cold - it’s wet - it’s windy

😫I STRUGGLE BUT I DON’T QUIT!

❄️I try to get changed & don’t look outside unless its pelting down or snowing! Rain is just water after all!

😊And then I go - once I’m dressed & ready there is no turning back!


⏰I plan my fitness, I check my diary & find time.


❄️I check the weather, if pelting rain / snow / wind is forecast then I make that day a rest day or gym day or find the part of the day when it’s least crazy and go then!


❤️I know how important my fitness is to my overall HEALTH & WELLBEING! Along with my MENTAL HEALTH. So I do make it a priority!


❤️It can be very easy to say NO but you can also tell yourself YES - it’s the mind you need to convince not the body!


❤️You only have one set of organs and joints, one brain, one cardiovascular system.


You can make all the excuses in the world, but when you realise that you are in control of the changes you want to see, it is empowering.

How do you prioritise your health:

1️⃣Find Your Passion - Is there some form of exercise that excites you & if not would you walk with a friend to motivate you

2️⃣Be Mindful of Your Time - We all lead very busy lives but it can be the way we priorities our wellness that limits our ability to make time

3️⃣Follow a Routine - Form a habit so that you’ll keep going

4️⃣Reward Yourself - Plan something you really enjoy if you achieve a target (to walk a hill, to bike a distance, to win a game
