šThis was once me, I weighed myself everyday often disheartened at the number showing on the screen not moving. A personal trainer showed me the scales donāt need to rule my day!
šNow as A PERSONAL TRAINER Iām aware where once I weighed 50kg age 20 Iām now about 58kg age 51 (according to the doctors scales) as I don't own a set of scales now.
ā¼ļøBUT I still wear āŖthe same sizeā¬ clothing. So although Iām almost 10kg heavier, I am fitter, stronger & healthier than in my 20ās. I also carry more muscle.
āļø The scales do not tell the whole story. I know now when Iāve pushed the portion sizes up, had too much to drink or eaten sweet treats (Christmas time), by the feel of my clothes.
šI donāt get the same level of despair. So if you weigh yourself, ask yourself do you really need to know about 100g or is there another way.
āļøThe scales can also show variations based on time of day as proven in research where they weighed a person throughout the day and was up & down!

āļøIf you think youāll struggle to ditch the scales then get a family member to hide them. Or see if you can stay off them for January.
āļøThen FOCUS ON YOUR HEALTH NOT A NUMBER. Look at improving your food choices to
āļømore Green
āļømore fresh
āļømore water
āļømore vegetables grown above ground
āļømore herbs & spices not sauces
āļømore protein ...not processed
ā„ļøEnjoy whatās in your green grocer & butcher not whatās in the middle of the supermarket!
