šŸ™ŒšŸ»The reality is that detoxification is happening 24/7, 365 days of the year.

šŸ™ŒšŸ»The main detoxification organs are the liver and kidneys, and the bowels & the urinary tract are ancillary to these.


šŸ™ŒšŸ»The skin via sweat, and the lungs via carbon dioxide, are also detoxification organs.


šŸ¹The lifestyle choices we make can interfere with how efficiently our body can detoxify and therefore eliminate the problematic substances that make their way into our body.


šŸš‚Although ideally, we minimise our exposure where we can, realistically we canā€™t avoid everything think air pollution.


šŸ³Simply eating more whole real food and making lifestyle choices that enable the liver to do its detoxification work more efficiently ā€“ such as consuming less alcohol and ultra-processed foods, while amping up your vegetable intake ā€“ can be great steps to take to better support detoxification.


šŸŠFor some, when they think about detoxification, they think of drinking only fresh juices or smoothies for an extended period of time ā€“ and while some people feel great doing this, others feel depleted. Itā€™s important to notice how YOU feel.


šŸŽThe premise of a juice cleanse is that you are giving the digestive system less work to do plus concentrated nutrition, so that stored problematic substances can be mobilised and eliminated.
