Crazy exercises online!

šŸ™†šŸ¼ā€ā™€ļøIā€™m astounded when Iā€™m on Instagram or other social media to see exercises I canā€™t fathom why youā€™d do them!


šŸ”¹From a weight / strength and pilates reformer Personal Trainer point of view!šŸ«£


šŸ”¹Some are just fillers to make up time in the session & Iā€™m often left asking why?


šŸ”¹There are so many great exercises out there to chose from as a trainer, why waste your clients time doing these FILLERS!


šŸ”¹Iā€™m of the belief that I try to give my clients the best workout for as many parts of their body in the time I have with them!


šŸ”¹Itā€™s SUPER important to aim for the best technique possible to ensure your getting as close to 100% benefit from each exercise & not just going through the motions!


šŸ”¹If your not hitting your technique then your wasting time under performing an exercise!


šŸ”¹For example when I see a bicep curl, an isolated exercise, I understand the technique & that bicep curls can have their place but Iā€™d rather chose a compound exercise that uses more than just the bicep!


āœ”ļøTherefore more bang for buck!Ā  Ā 


āœ”ļøWhen you could have worked more muscle groups and at the end of your time youā€™ve worked biceps, your back (lats + traps) and abā€™s and legs for example!


āœ”ļøIt can depend on your end goal, but for most people itā€™s about getting the most benefit in the shortest time!


āœ”ļøAnd not doing filler exercises which realistically donā€™t achieve the end game but just take up time in a session!


āœ”ļøIf your at home following an instagram or social media page for your workout, invest in a great trainer & get more from your workout & understand why an exercise is important.


šŸWe are in the middle of AUGUST challenge in which we are rating our achievement - great to see more than last week hitting 80% plus! Ā  Keep up the fantastic effort!
