“WAKE UP & BE AWESOME” It’s the time of year when we feel the pressures with the rush to get all our boxes ticked for Christmas. Hence my challenge to my clients to not only be AWESOME but consider what your GRATEFUL for?
💕Challenge yourself to be GRATEFUL for one thing every day! As we are all incredibly lucky especially those who enjoy good health! I guess I’d like to think we all consider our HEALTH a non negotiable & make an effort at home or with someone like me to keep it as a priority.
🎅🏻We discussed more items for consideration over this Christmas season:
🤶🏼SLEEP - Trying to get as much as we can, as this can be something that we reduce as the days get filled with more things to get done! However to get the things done we need to be as awake & aware as we can!
🎅🏻TREATS - There is a lot of opportunity to overindulge at this time of year, and although we can enjoy some treats we need to be mindful of which ones to have & which to leave. As choosing everything is just going to undo the effort we’ve put in.
🤶🏼WATER - With summer now here & warm days ahead, make sure you keep up the hydration. Keep a bottle of water with you, and if you're not keen on just water, look to add some fruits or vegetables or try some cold tea options.
🏋🏼♀️We did a fun workout with skull crushers - curtsy’s - hairy leg star jumps - single arm cleans this week - crazy gym activity names! I’m guessing most would have some sore (DOMS) triceps (backs of the arms) & legs! DOMS stands for delayed onset of muscle soreness & this sometimes but not always occurs when we work our muscles. It can occur when we do an activity we have not done for a while too - for example tramping in hills. This soreness is not a concern as it goes within a couple of days. Its thought to be the muscles repairing themselves again in a good way!
