YOUR BODY WON’T CHANGE IN A WEEK BUT YOU CAN BUILD HABITS THAT WILL CHANGE YOUR LIFE” With our November challenge of one change finishing, I’ve discussed how we can make this change a habit worth continuing on. Interestingly when we make a change for 4 weeks only, it's not a long period & it’s achievable. At the end of the 4 weeks most people can make the change permanent. This is a great way to make new habits.
We also discussed how Christmas crazy days can make our healthy changes slip so this week we had three points to think about:
🎄Healthy Nutritious Start to your day. By starting the day with a great breakfast (eggs, oats, protein, healthy fats) it replenishes your supply of glucose & provides essential nutrients to keep energy levels up throughout the day.
🎄Stock up on Nutritious Go To Meals. With days squeezed to fit in many tasks sometimes nutritious meals go out the door. Ensure you have some leftovers frozen, or foods with longer use by dates in the fridge to have when time is limited.
🎄Fitness should stay on the To Do List. Fitness gets pushed to the bottom of the list but it’s not only good for the body but for the mind. Often I get up earlier to get my fitness done as it’s a chance to plan my day. Consider it Brain food! or Brain rest!
