“HEALTHY IS AN OUTFIT THAT LOOKS DIFFERENT ON EVERYONE!” No matter how much you want to look like your best friend that is not going to happen. We need to accept our bodies, & love the good bits & accept some of the bits we aren’t so keen on. Genetics plays it’s part & as I’ve said before its much better to be FIT & STRONG rather than SKINNY! Work on achieving the goal of FIT, HEALTHY & STRONG & LOVE yourself!
We also discussed four words which I believe are important when we are seeking a change being HEALTHIER, FITTER & STRONGER. They are:
🤔time - it takes time to make changes, remember it took time to get you to where you may want to change & now it will take time to change in the other direction
🤔effort - we must put in effort to achieve results to not only our nutrition, but also our hydration, sleep, fitness, stress, alcohol reduction
🤔patience - we need to be patient as sometimes we plateau, sometimes dependant on effort and as I said above it takes time so patience is needed
🤔Consistency - this is the big one! If we flip / flop between nutritious & not or between fitness & none or any of the activities we need to initiate change then change will ultimately be slower or plateau. Keeping going is important & it’s important that we see the consistency as a LIFE LONG lifestyle change. Where we change to a way of life we enjoy!
🤔I hope you enjoyed your extended break in Canterbury. I headed to the West Coast & although it did rain, it surprised some with sunshine ☀️too. It’s always enjoyable to get outdoors somewhere you’ve not been for a while. Enjoy your weekend & I hope the crazy weather starts to settle.
