“YOU CANNOT CONTROL EVERYTHING BUT YOU CAN CONTROL YOUR EFFORT” Another twist on the quote from last week, suggesting that to achieve you must put in effort as thoughts won’t get you over the line alone! Sometimes we get carried away wanting to be the best, when actually just moving forward is all that is needed. Don’t be consumed by not being good enough, focus on just giving it a go! I’m inspired by those in my GYM who have just given it a go & sometimes surprised themselves by what they can achieve with their health & fitness.
😋We also discussed mixed messages which related to a post I shared on Monday by Dr Libby Weaver whose advice I trust. There are so many diets, mis-information, mixed up media reports & it is confusing. Don’t follow the latest fad as thats all it will achieve; a short term gain. Real foods made in nature is what our bodies crave as they give us great nutrients, minerals & vitamins. We need water too!
😋We know some foods our bodies don’t like. Mine doesn't like Brussel sprouts or too many raw carrots to name a couple. Each person is different. Listen to your body when it sends you messages like making you bloated, sleepy, or lethargic or even sick. Please don’t listen to someone suggesting a diet as this is a short term plan not a long term lifestyle.

😋It’s a short week in Canterbury with Show Week & a public holiday. Our NOVEMBER challenge of giving up or adding in is having huge success & with only two weeks to go we need to maintain focus.
😋Look to some meal prep & I’ve a friend who found life was just too busy so now buys ready prepared meals for the microwave when he gets home. There are some great companies doing this such as EATL8R & FITFOOD to name a couple. These maybe worth investigating if you find yourself short of time & needing a healthier choice meal.
😋Have a great weekend! Please make some EFFORT to get outside as it's a truly wonderful place we live with views to live for!
