“SUCCESS DOESN’T KNOW ABOUT COLD OR TIRED (OR HOT) IT JUST KNOWS IF YOU SHOWED UP” TRUE! Everyone can have a reason not to exercise, but success can only be achieved without those excuses. I see my clients overcome reasons not to train everyday. A variety of reasons that have validity, but we can often find ways around those to train safely.
🏋️♂️There are many ways to improve your fitness & ultimately your health so if you think you can’t then think again as that excuse is invalid in almost every instance. Don’t think GOLD medal but think small steps on the path to greater health!
🍳Portions was the topic this week. I’ll admit when my children were young & I was at home with them I’d easily eat the same as my husband. Yet he worked long hours doing physical work. This realisation that I was eating two burgers to his two burgers was a turning point. I also now often save some of my dinner for my lunch as leftovers & this has also been a turning point. Prior to this realisation I’d probably eat the leftovers so not to throw them out. Therefore eating 1 1/2 dinners. I now save them for lunch which is a much better solutions & my lunch has become a favourite meal.

🍰November Change has started with a BANG! Fantastic seeing clients embrace this challenge. No chocolate, alcohol free weeks, one more bike ride, one hill walk, more sleep, no buscits, no sugary treats, one run with dog are some of the changes we are making for 4 weeks. It’s not too late to join us with your one change!
☀️How fantastic was the weekend with the HOT HOT HOT weather - LOVED - although tough work in the garden which is growing with all the rain & sun! I’ve added in some barbecue recipes to try on my Facebook page & heard the corn fritters with avocado were fantastic. Enjoy your SUCCESS with fitness this week & reconsider those excuses.
