“YOU CAN’T OUTRUN YOUR FORK …or wine glass or beer bottle” Is the topic for discussion this week. If you're working out with weights, or cardio or any form of fitness but you do not adjust your nutrition their maybe progress but the progress will be limited. It’s what food & drink choices you make that will really make a difference. I know this seems difficult but all change is hard to start, but gets easier as you learn more.
📆I also saw an instragram post on whether 8 week challenges are all they are made out to be. Is the 8 week challenge a kickstart to change being a forever lifestyle or does it just end at 8 weeks. How will the changes become lifestyle changes? In 12 months will the person in the challenge have learnt enough to continue the changes they’ve made? In 24 months are they still living a healthier, more energised & fit lifestyle? My objective with my clients is always to teach them so that what they learn can be put into practice outside the gym & at home.
We have continued our kilometre challenge & last week beat our previous week by 60km, reaching a total of 937km. With one day to go this week we are on target to again have a big week. Everyone is stepping up their out of gym fitness & with SPRING weather it is easier to get outside.
☀️DAYLIGHT SAVINGS starts this weekend with springing forward one hour. I love the lighter nights & opportunity to do more after work.
Enjoy your weekend, plan some meals for next week, ask a friend to join you on your activities & look to try a new recipe or two from my facebook page this week.
