STRENGTH OVER SKINNY EVERYTIME!

“I’M PROUDLY ADDICTED TO BECOMING STRONGER” Often in the media /Instagram/facebook we see transformations of people losing weight, however I hope that those who feature realise how much better it is to be 💗STRONGER or FITTER not just thinner! Reducing weight is best as a by-product of getting fitter, healthier & stronger. Especially as we age STRONGER becomes a more important target.

🙌🏻I’ve clients in their 60’s / 70’s who prove every time I see them that being STRONG enables a better life, when sometimes friends are slowing down they're getting more and more out of life from the STRENGTH & FITNESS they're gaining!

💕I’m 50 & I am fitter, stronger & healthier than I have ever been. I wish I’d known how great it feels to be this way earlier in my life. I applaud those who are younger than me & older than me working on their FITNESS & HEALTH. As the effort is always rewarded. **CHEESE - Most kiwi’s love it, but are you eating too much? Did you know Goat’s cheese is lower in lactose & is often easier to digest? Cheese is a great source of calcium, fat, and protein. It also contains high amounts of vitamins A & B-12, along with zinc, phosphorus, and riboflavin. It’s the portion you're serving yourself you need to watch! Also what’s under your cheese & how much of it you eat. The pizza crust, crackers, tortilla chips, and bread can cancel out the benefits of the healthy, whole foods you put on top. Here’s an article on better choices when it comes to cheese https://www.healthline.com/nutrition/healthiest-cheese

Week two of our kilometres in September challenge & we reached another 800km+. We also completed an ASSASSIN workout - one client suggested it should be given a kinder name so as not to sound so TOUGH! But we all got through!

🌸It’s been a SPRING of crazy conditions as expected so far, with warm temps, huge winds, and rain on the weekend in Ashburton. Enjoy your weekend & REMEMBER IT’S WHAT WE EAT MOST OF THE TIME THAT HAS THE MOST IMPACT ON ANY CHANGE WE ARE TRYING TO MAKE!
